Lisa Heiserman

Miss Lisa started dancing at the age of 3 and has studied all types of dance, including the RAD, Vaganova and Cecchetti ballet methods as well as tap, jazz, lyrical and modern. She was a scholarship student at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York at the age of 13. Miss Lisa was a company member of Ballet Repertory Theater and the Metropolitan Ballet Company. She also danced as a soloist, was a flying angel and then assistant choreographer for the Glory of Christmas and Glory of Easter productions at the Crystal Cathedral.
Miss Lisa got married in 2002 and has 2 children of her own. Prior to starting a family, she received her Early Childhood Development credentials and taught preschool for many years. Miss Lisa had the privilege of being certified and trained by Marie Walton-Mahon, the creator of Progressing Ballet Technique and has been teaching PBT since 2016. She also had the honor of training under Lisa Howell of Perfect Form Physiotherapy and the Ballet Blog. She has completed multiple levels of Lisa Howell’s Dance Teacher and Health Professional Training workshops which has helped to stay on top of injury prevention and safe training practices, including studies on pointe training, hips and core, flexibility and training extreme mobility safely. She now has 18 years of ballet teaching experience. She loves sharing her passion and love of dance with all ages and levels and strives to teach her students grace, poise, confidence and discipline through strong ballet technique.
Delanee Inman

Beginning Program
Delanee Inman, a Southern California native, began her dance journey in 2003. She is trained in all styles of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, and lyrical. She started dancing competitively in 2013 and received multiple accolades and titles. In 2017 she turned her training focus to strictly classical ballet and contemporary, and placed top 12 at different YAGP venues. She was privileged to train classical ballet under the instruction of Terri Russell and Lisa Heiserman. Delanee Inman has been a teacher exclusively at Yorba Linda Academy of Ballet since 2017. She became Artistic Director of the Beginning Program at YLAB in August of 2021. Her choreography is award winning at prestigious competitions such as YAGP and JUMP. She started her own elite non-competitive program, Training Team, in 2021 to share her love of technique with dancers, with the goal of instilling a good foundation at a young age. Additionally, Ms. Delanee earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University Fullerton in May of 2022. She is currently working towards her Masters Degree of Education and Multiple Subject Credential with a focus on Inspired Teaching and Learning. With over 6 years of teaching experience, she continues to enjoy growing into her love of education and the fine art of ballet.
Kate Coogan
Kate began dancing at the age of 8 at Long Beach Ballet, training in RAD and Vaganova techniques. She attended San Francisco Ballet School and Houston Ballet Academy summer intensives, both on scholarship. She performed with Long Beach Ballet Theater for 5 years and participated in Regional Dance America’s annual festival for 4 years. Kate performed for 6 years as a principal dancer in the Glory of Christmas and Easter productions at the Crystal Cathedral.
Kate attended California State University Long Beach and holds a bachelor’s degree in human development. She and her husband married in 2006 and have two daughters. Kate has been teaching ballet all throughout Southern California for close to 20 years. Her passion in teaching ballet is to guide her students as they grow in their technique, confidence, and joy for dance.
Kelley Guise
​Kelley has been training in jazz, ballet, lyrical and contemporary for the past 20 years. She has received an abundant amount of choreography awards for her work, which is often described as being innovative and extremely unique. She has taught and done choreography all over the United States at various studios and schools. She has been teaching at the Orange County School of the Arts for the past 5 years in the Commercial Dance Department. Kelley has been studying contemporary movement as her main focus and continues to be inspired by all the amazing dancers she’s been able to work with.
